I was watching it tonight on AMC and at the end when those people were coming out of the spaceship were they soliders!.!.!.!.I heard 1 guy in the movie say "they haven't aged"!.!.What did he mean by that!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Back in 1945 a group of torpedo bombers on a training missions out of Ft Lauderdale disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle!. The UFO theorists believed the disappearance to be the work of an alien race!. This was the "mystery of flight 19"!. The story was used as part if the close encounters movie, and the soldiers at the end of the movie were supposed to be the navy aviators that manned flight 19!. Since "Close Encounters was set in 1977, the flight 19 crew should have been 22 years older!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
The meant they had been gone for years but none of them looked any different than when they left!. There could be several reasons for this, prefect living conditions prevented aging or just as likely is that because the ship could quickly leave Earth's orbit (Some of the ships seemed like they might be able to go light speed) that time in accordance with the theory of relativity was much slower for the ship!. To the humans it might have simply appeared to have gone through time as well as space!.
