Okay, I searched around, and apparently R and Unrated have the same age requirements!. Like American Pie--it was rated 'R' before hand, so the Unrated is treated as 'R'!. But in certain areas, you have to be 18 to buy a Rated R movie!. In GA, I was able to get both when I was 17!. But it's been three years!.!.!.

i know in the south (like tennessee, arkansas & other states, basically anything in the bible belt) you have to be 18 to even see an r rated movie!. like when i went to tennessee & some how i got a date we when to see sweeny todd!. the ticket person asked to see my id & he wouldn't let me see it!. (we bought national treasure tickets & saw sweeny todd instead!. that's besides the point!.) now in florida where i live i can see an r rated movie alone!. i also couldn't buy i dazed & confused up there ither but in florida i could buy sweeny todd!. what i am saying in a rather long & ramblely way is it all depends on what state your in & live in!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
If 'unrated' is the same as what we call 'E - Exempt', then you can be any age!.

If you buy them new, you've gotta be the same age as R!.!.!. 18 I think!.!.!. But if you buy it used, most stores will let you buy anything!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
