Question: FINALLY! My movie dreams just came true!.!.!.Tim Burton's movie!?
I am a HUGE Tim Burton fan!.
Ever since I was like 10 and saw Beetle Juice I have always told people that what Tim Burton really needs to do is do his own rendition of "Alice in Wonderland"!.
In fact, just last night I was driving back from the grocery store and the song from Nightmare Before Xmas came on the radio and I told my husband "you know what movie Tim Burton needs to do!? Alice in Wonderland"!.
And everytime I have ever said that, everyone just said "nah!. That's a stupid movie!. It's not Tim Burton style!." or "no, Disney would never give him the rights to the movie" or "why would tim Burton make that movie!? It's a stupid book"
But I was always convinced that eventually he would realize how much he needed to do Alice in Wonderland!. (Because that is like the best movie for him to do, and I don't see how he couldn't some day realize that)!.
and NOW I just find out that Tim Burton answered my telepathic pleas by beginning the work on!.!.!.!.!.!.!.you guess it!.!.!.!.!.ALICE AND WONDERLAND! Which is supposed to come out in 2010!.
I know this is not really a question, but I am just SOOOOOO happy!. I have been waiting YEARS for this movie!. I have been waiting for this movie before Tim Burton ever thought of even making it!

An excellent project for Burton!. "Alice" is such an odd, deep piece of work!. Most people read it superficially and remember it selectively because they don't want to pursue its strange beckonings to odd little corners of the mind!. Honestly, Yes!.!.!. I think it will be fantastic!. At least I hope!. Corpse Bride was just ok!.!.!. but Nightmare before Christmas is still one of my all time favorite movies!
