Question: Film special effects through the ages in horror!?
Hey, basically i need to write a brief summary of technological advances and special effects advances of the horror filming decades, the 40s 50s 60s 70s 80s and 90s: so far im struggling on 1940's 'Dr Cyclops' - i dont understand how the special effects are created!
also, for the 1930s i have Alfred Hitchcock's 'Foreign Correspondent' in which a rear projection of the ocean was filmed behind the real stage then thousands of gallons of water was poured into the set!.

The 1940's film Dr!. Cyclops visual effects were created using early rear projection effects executed by Farciot Edouart, who was considered a master of the technique in his generation!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
