Question: Does anyone know what this film is from this description!?
Right, this may sound like gibberish but here I go!.
It's a Vampire film and I believe it was made either in the late 80's or early 90's (I could be wrong)!.
It's set in a small town sort of out in the desert (I think)!. I believe a young couple and a couple of their friends stop at a gas station and one of them gets attacked by the attendant!. The others try to get away and end up being brought into the town (I believe)!.
It turns out that the town is completly populated by Vampires and they don't take human blood, they produce an alternative that they try to live on, their idea is to try and get on the right side of god so that he will accept them (I think)!. It ends up with the town being split into 2, bad and good, with the 2 main vampires having a fight and it turning out that the main good vampire could actually be Dracula and the good ones not getting burnt by the sun when it comes up!.
Does any body know what this film is called, I am desperate to watch it again but haven't got the foggiest what it's name is!?

I got to thinking about this movie here you describe and i think i have seen it as well!. I dont remember the name but the last part you said got me thinking!. I remember a movie like this and it was hinted that the Vampire is Dracula but they didnt say it was in the movie!. Was it animated!? Thinking now the one i seen was an animated movie!. But i dont recall most of it with the town being all vampires!. The movie that i was talking about Vampire Hunter D, thats not it, the main character is half vamp, half human, its hinted that his father is Dracula i think!. i will look around and see what i can find on the net by your description, i like to know what movie this is!.
