basically the entire movie was an elabourate setup to frame the main character that is investigating the guy who is jigsaw's buddy!. and at the end he fails, and dies!. the other dude lives!. also the 5 people in the 'games'!.!.!.
first one gets her head chopped off, second one explodes, third one gets electricuted, in the fourth game - both people 'survive' when they run their hands through a bandsaw - and they technically won the game, but they both died lmao!.
so jigsaw's buddy is still alive - but i heard that the producer promised that this was the last saw!.
