Whats the title of the movie where a killer kidnaps a girl...?!

I think it has something to do with an apple orchard!.!.!.!.but the little girl was in a play, and gets kidnapped by the killer, her mom then goes looking for her and somehow ends up drownin and seeing her daughter under water!.!.thats how the movie ends!. But the killer was like abused as a child, his mother would lock him in a trunk in the attack i think!.
