most malevolent -- and he commanded all

so he would dominate over the firebird
The Firebird would be in his control
and his flame would have no effect
The only advantage for the Firebird would be
for him to trick Chernabog past the coming
of the dawn to weaken his defenses in the light
of the day and the ringing of the Angellus Bell !.!.!.
