It was an all right movie!. Definitely not the best movie I've ever seen, and honestly, the only good actor in it was Heath Ledger!. There would not be this much publicity and excitement over it if he had not died earlier this year!. It was much too long to be an action movie, too realistic to be about a superhero and yet too unrealisitic to be believable!. It also seemed like I was watching two movies!. Harvey's transformation to evil and everything after that should have been cut out, as the two themes were entirely different!. I was disappointed- it entertained me only as much as a Friends episode I've already seen three times entertains me!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The depiction of the Joker is a mostly accurate translation from the Killing Joke!. The screenplay is good!. The music is faultless!. There are some outstanding individual performances from the cast!. Dialogue is well written and thoughtful!.
Visual effects can very occasionally obscure and overshadow the movie as a whole!. Some performances are mediocre but the stronger ones (Ledger, Bale, Eckhart, Oldman) make this easy to forgive and forget
Not your everyday superhero fodder, adult to the degree that it may not be of any interest to every minor!. It will probably please most Batman fans!. Those who have not read a comic book before, may well feel the urge after watching this movie!.
To conclude, you could accurately compare The Dark Knight more to Heat than to Spiderman!. A great crime thriller that happens to contain superheroes!.
