1!. Yes I know at least two off the top of my head - Once Were Warriors and Whale Rider
2!. Once Were Warriors focuses on a so-called typical family where there is Domestic Violence and alcoholism involved!. It also includes change, but when in the hardest of times, even a torn family can come back together to fight the odds
Whale Rider is the story of a young child who is hated by her grandfather - a tribal chief - because she was born a girl!. It focuses on this ancent story of the whale rider and the tribal leaders who lead their community to better themselves!.

A REALLY good movie to watch is whale rider it shows heaps about the maori culture [native people of new zealand]!.
also there is one called we once were warriors it is very sad, disturbing and moving!.!.!. showing the darker side of new zealand!.

I don't know any films from New Zealand!. However the most famous one I can think of that is films there is Lord of the Rings!. So it shopsyou the diverse scenery!. And of course it's brilliant!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
