One important thing to take into consideration is that "The Brotherhood of the Wolf" is a true gothic tale which means that the menace is not supernatural, and that what has really been going on has a logical explanation!. Audiences are so accustomed to "Yellow Gothics" (i!.e!. stories in which the antagonist is a genuine supernatural creature, Count Dracula, for example), that it has become unusual to see a true gothic story in the manner or Walpole!. I suggest you do a few minutes research on the history and distinctions of the different kinds of gothic stories, and decide why there are no real werewolves in the movie!. I also urge you to consider the role of the various figures connected to the church and how they are presented (and don't forget the seductive female character who is actually an agent of the Vatican)!. also take into consideration that the leading character is a "naturalist," someone who represents science!. Think those aspects through, and I'm sure you'll figure out some sort of thesis which you can defend easily!.

You can also pad your presentation time, if you need to, by noting that it was the success of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" that made a distributor decide to try to market "Los Pacte del Lobos" with an American title and saturation commercials that strongly suggested that the movie was a kung-fu werewolf movie (which it clearly isn't)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Director Christophe Gans's luminously filmed horror tale -- based on an 18th century French legend about a protean wolflike beast -- has some bite to it!. The beast's bloodlust (it likes to devour villagers) sets the stage for a battle royal between it and naturalist Gregoire de Fronsac (Samuel Le Bihan) and his Mohawk Indian companion, Mani (Mark Dacascos) -- two adventurers dispatched by King Louis to vanquish the terror!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The French Revolution was in the background (right!?)!. Are there class issues taking place!? I don't remember!.
!.!.!. having read Slaps!.!.!. if the lion (symbol of a king) devours villagers, then maybe you could work in class issues!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
