The only problem with the suggestion in the other answer is that it is on starwars!.com!. I don't know if you've ever tried to surf around the official site but, and I say this as a total Star Wars nerd, it is a total and complete nightmare!.
Another sad thing about the boards at starwars!.com is that they are full of very rude people!. Yes, they, for the most part, know there stuff but they are "snobbish" with "younglings" and beginner fans!. Go on one of those boards and ask why could be considered an "easy" or "you should already know that as a SW fan" and prepare to get hammered but the people there!. It's not as bad as I make it seem but I've seen it turn nasty real quick on the boards at starwars!.com!.
You might try theforce!.net!. This is a fan run site but is almost a off shoot of starwars!.com !.!.!. the people are no where near as rude AND know their stuff just as well as the other!. Some have soured on this site because of increasingly close ties to starwars!.com but it's still a great reference site and they have a ton of fan made movies and fiction pieces about Star Wars to download and watch !.!.!. the movies are, for the most part, very well done!. None of the movies or stories is part of the "official canon" of Star Wars as they are fan made stories but they are still pretty good stuff!. Some of the lightsabre duels in these movies !.!.!. yeah, they do the special effects and everything !.!.!. are really great!.
If you want something a bit less "formal" then there are a lot of Star Wars groups in the Yahoo groups system!. I have a site there, here is a link to it:

We have a good mix of all kinds of people from all over the world in the group and any question you have about Star Wars someone in the group will know the answer !.!.!. and if we don't know it we'll find out what the answer is!. The site is also rated, by users, as the # 3 group in the Yahoo groups network !.!.!. not just the Sci-Fi groups !.!.!. ALL groups!. We were also picked as "fan site of the month" by starwars!.com in March and April of 2005 during the run up to the release of ep III!.
Well, enough blowing my own horn, so to speak !.!.!. lol !.!.!. give my site a look see, if you like it feel free to join and start firing questions at us !.!.!. nothing like a good Star Wars debate to keep warm during the winter !.!.!. lol !.!.!.
