i hate crash!. i love hot topic movies if they are done honestly but crash is most certainly not that!. it is probably the most contrived movie i have ever seen!. it is not in the slightest bit insightful or realistic about race relations, all it does is take movie stereotypes of black people (racially victimised) and white people (noble and pure) and asian people (religious fundamentalists) and inverts them!. the entire film just shows us the side we normally see of these people onscreen and then shows the opposite!. they arent three-dimensional characters, they just exist to subvert our expectations!. its like one big lecture on race that isnt even based in the real world but in the film world instead!. and the scene with the girl getting 'shot' with a blank is the single most overwrought and melodramatic scene in the history of cinema, right down to the dolly-zoom into the guys face!. its funny how paul haggis is such a good script doctor when working on other peoples' scripts, but when it comes to his own he just makes sumthing hugely over the top!. sorry for the rant but i really really hate this movie!. it makes me think that anyone who found this movie deep and clever didnt see past the subject matter!. and that includes the oscarsWww@Enter-QA@Com
cat woman- no relevance to what cat woman is about and the costume was so bad-although it make her look good lol
