it was really awkarad !. It focused more on the kings flirtations with mary than for his love affair with anne like it goes straight to the part when she is queen and with him ignoring her!. But anne did a good job sticking up for herself rather than mary, giving herself in and than being cast aside like some rag doll unfit to serve the king anymore!.

I loved it but then again I love period pieces and I think Scarlett Joahnnson is so beautiful! I really can't remember what King Henry saw, I'd have to watch it again!. Anne is such a bad sister though it's touching how Elizabeth sticks by her side till the end (so sad!!!)!. I just think everything about the movie was great!. The plot was great and of course, the scenery and wadrobes were incredible!. And the acting was outstanding! I would've loved to have seen it in the theaters rather than on DVD!. If you like period pieces like me, I'd go see The Duchess!. It looks really good!.

I absolutely loved the book, and so the movie was a big disappointment for me!. They left out the whole thing with William, which was my favourite part!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
