I remember it well!. Jill Claybourg played her mother!. Though the move wasn't autobiographical, Tracey certainly did suffer from anorexia in real life!. I've often wondered if this stemmed from the fact that her character (Carol Seaver) in "Growing Pains" was constantly called fat by her brother!. I mean, that's gotta affect a child actor in some way!.
I thought the movie was well done, as it dealt with the stress the anorexic goes through has they hide their condition!. I also remember a pivitol scene where the character Nancy is looking at herself in the mirror in her underwear!. She was skeletal!. Scary!.
