Does anybody else feel that the Twilight Movie has taken the story to a more mel!

Question: Does anybody else feel that the Twilight Movie has taken the story to a more melodramatic place!?
I know I've done it again, and turned Yahoo Answers into my own personal twilight blog!. but this is a great place to hear people's thoughts, and i like expressing my feelings on something that means a lot to me, so here goes!.!.!.

The twilight series is more than a book!. its a fantastic story, with great characters and a wonderful plot!. A lot of the book is obviously dark,(you know, with the vampires!.!.!.) but i feel like there's also a lot of the book that is happy!. theres sweet romantic scenes between them and great happy moments all throughout the book!. i feel like even though its got it's scary moments, twilight is a love story!. :)
so naturally, i was shocked when the trailers for the movie came out!. it seemed that all the scenes were "scary" or "dramatic" when the didn't have to be!. the kiss and the meadow scene in the final trailer proved that the movie is going to take the beautiful twilight books to a fake melodramatic place, where there are no serene lovely scenes because it would be bad for the movie's "$" and everything is in dark colors with "spooky" music behind it!. i know they have to have drama, but i just really loved some of th calm scenes of them together!.!.!.

agree!?, disagre!?
am i right or just a little sensitive!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

hahaha i'm sure there are far too many die-hard twilight fans to allow the movie producers to create a story based on scary and dramatic themes rather than edward and bellas mushy love!

remember, trailers are meant to catch attention and that means overload of drama!.

besides, what would twilight be without all those lovey dovey scenes!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think the way i made up my own movie in my head while reading the book is more interesting than the actual movie!. Hollywood commercializes to attract more audiences!! Ima go see the movie of course but im not expecting much so i wont get dissapointed!! Www@Enter-QA@Com

Books aren't written to be as commercial as films are!.

Stephenie Meyer would be writing the book thinking "fingers crossed somebody actually buys this" -- but everyone behind the film has seen how successful the series is and how much potential there is to appeal to an even WIDER demographic !.!.!. meaning, they know 90% of readers would be seeing the movie, but this is their chance to draw in all the people who didn't pick up the book!.

Maybe the film as an entirety won't be as melodramatic as the trailer, because the primary aim of the trailer is to draw in potential non-reader viewers by showing them something different (because they weren't tempted to pick up the book)!.

Not sure how much sense that makes, but that's my two cents!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
