Question: Old Campy B Horror Movie!?
I can't remember the name of it but it was a campy 80's horror movie!. The only party I can really remember is one girl that's a cheerleader is in her room and she has a bunch of stuffed animals and shes talking about how important it is to brush and floss your teeth to the teddy bear!. So then she goes into the bathroom and starts brushing her teeth!. Then she opens up the medicine cabinet and the killer is on the other side and right as she's about to scream he kills her with a power drill in her mouth!. Odd thing about the post/cover art for this: you'd have no idea it was a horror movie at all, it just looks like a straight comedy!. I knew it was a horror spoof, though, and watched it almost back to back with "Student Bodies" (1981) !.!.!. In one of the opening scenes, four cheerleaders are skewered by a long javelin toss by a mystery killer!. Years later, a woman reopens the cheerleading school!. Each of the new students is introduced by a caption: Victim #1, Victim #2, etc!. Isabella Telezynska plays a character spoofing Maria Ouspenskaya's Maleva character from Universal's "The Wolf Man", offering a warning in rhyme about pompoms!. Carol Kane plays a Carrie-like psychic girl raised by an oppressive mother!. Meanwhile, a driller killer has escaped from prison, and a madman wearing a mask has escaped from an asylum, so they hit the road together, with the madman's doctor is in pursuit!. Tom Smothers is the local cop~a Royal Canadian Mountie who rides a horse with a circle painted around one eye!.

This one crops up on movie channels occasionally!. I caught most of it several months ago and was surprised by how much of it I remembered from seeing it during its first cable appearances!.
