Question: Heath Ledger vs!. Jack Nicholson (who's the better joker)!?
Seeing each batman movie who do you believe is the better joker!?!!?
I'm in love with the dark knight and my parents and me always debate about who is the better joker!.!.!.
So just pick one of then and if you can say your age it would be great or like a short age range
One of my parents think a lot of younger kids(teens) would say heath but I just want to see if their right!.

Well I believe Heath Ledger put more time in studying the Joker role and was more evil and convincing just like the comic while Jack Nicholson's portrayal was more comedic and not so convincing as Ledger!.

well jack played joker as well a joker heath played him as a messed up guy trying to show batman that he cant be all good and that you "die a hero or live long enough to see yourself becolome the villan!. i think that heaths character was more complex than jacks
i think that it doesn't really matter who played the better joker because it all depends on how the producer or director or w!.e wants him to be portrayed!. If they both auditioned for the same movie then we could compare them but in difrferent movies in different peroids of time i think it really isn't fair to either of them!. the question should be what movie had a better joker!. we dont wanna compare actors in different movies thats like comparing ashton kucher in that 70's show and in the butterfly effect

Jack's Joker started the whole downhill goofines that defined the first Batman movies(dancing with a Prince song!? come on!?) hence being the make-me laugh of the movie!. Now Heath's Joker!?!.!.!.!.!.!.!.The acting was so good that is one of those movies that you wish that the bad guy wins!.My friend used to hate Heath and he said that he never imagined changing his mind the way he did after seeing it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I think it is hard to compare since both movies and parts were so different!. I liked Batman with Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson, b/c it wasn't as violent, very little profanity (I think there was one damn or hell towards the end) and there was more humor!. The Dark Knight was "dark" and I'm not a fan of those types of movies!. However, Ledger did an amazing performance!. It is just two different types of characters!. So I guess my vote would go for Jack!.
As far as actors, I liked Heath Ledger better than Jack Nicholson!. On a whole, Jack gives me the creeps!. I guess I"ll always see him as Jack in The Shining!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

If you hold both characters up to the mirror they are EXACTLY the same, except the Joker has more makeup!.

You heard me correctly, the Joker was originally written the way Ledger played him: completely insane, but pure genius, and no love or sympathy to anyone or anything!. Many consider that The Joker (as he was originally made) is by far the greatest villain ever created, counting comics, novels, movies, and video games!. Random fact: did you know that he killed the second Robin (there have been about five), and that to Batgirl he actually sexually assaulted her in front of her family!? Now you understand what I mean by maniacal!.
