Other recommendations: [rec]- Spanish film, easy to get subs- YOU NEED TO SEE THIS, Cannibal Holocaust(watch this movie, director went to prison for it in 1980) and Men Behind The Sun (true story about a Chinese POW camp)!.

Thanks for answering my q!. August Underground's Mordum is the most shocking horror I've ever seen by a mile!.

Cutting Moments and Aftermath are short films but pretty hard-hitting also!.

i havent seen all of them [and am anxious to actually see the spanish film the orphange myself]!.!.!.!.!.!.but can heartily reccommend hatchet !.!.!.!.!.its funny ,will scare the easily scareable!.!.!.!.!.and also is a great excuse to play spot the ex horror star -- look out for kane hodder [in the lead role as the killer] ,tony todd[from candyman], and robert englund [freddy krueger] !.!.!.!.its entertaining and funny
