Its funny!. You can really tell who the younglings are with questions like this!. Yes, the prequel trilogy was very fun to look at!. Each movie was visually pleasing!. I any true Star Wars fan would agree that the space battles were amazing and the lightsaber duels are worth watching over and over again!. But my biggest problem with the prequel trilogy is the dialog!. It didn't sound natural!. It sounded forced!. Like the acotrs didn't believe what they were saying!. Especially the scenes that were supposed to be romantic between Anakin and Padme!.
I pity those who never got to see the original trilogy in theaters when they first came out!. I was lucky enough to have seen them all!. Too many young people watched them out of order!. They knew that Vader was Luke's father before they saw the Empire Strikes back!. That took some of the fun out of the movie!. That was big news!. That one scene was talked about for months after the movie released!. They've also grown up watching technologically enhanced movies, without enjoying movies where you had to actually listen to the words people were saying to fully enjoy the movie!. The oriinal trilogy had it all!. Cutting edge special effects (at that time), witty dialog, and an amazing story!.
My favorite of all is The Empire Stirkes Back!. I loved the dark ending!. I loved the cliffhanger!. I loved the dialog!. In my opinion, it flowed better than any of the other movies!. I wish Irvin Kershner had directed them all!.
Second would be Revenge of the Sith, only because that movie contained 60% of the story of the prequel trilogy!. And we all wanted to see how Anakin turned to the dark side!.

Phantom Menace is the worst; there's no doubt about that!. Racism (Jar Jar), child-actor (Anikin), stupid plot (let's abduct the slave child after he wins a dust-durby so he can steal a spaceship and win a space battle)!.
Empire had a cliff-hanger; that's no good!. It's George Lucas' way of saying "Okay, come back later and pay again!." Return had those f***ing ewoks, so it loses points there!.

Definitely the original (A New Hope)!. It's the only one that is a self-contained story and can be watched on its own!. Return of the Jedi is a distant second and Empire a close third!. The other three (four now, I guess) don't warrant mentioning!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
My favorite is The Empire Strikes Back!. It had the first meeting of Luke and Vader (and he found out Vader was his father!.!.!.!.noooooooooo!)!. But mostly I like the cliffhanger of an ending where Han is frozen in carbinite after Leia and he finally confessed their love (I know)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
My favorite one was Star Wars Attack of the Clones, because firstly, Hayden Christensen is CUTE, and also i love the romantic parts!. I also liked the Revenge of the Sith when Anakin goes all "dark" :DWww@Enter-QA@Com
