Top Gun - neither have I!. Tom Cruise is in it so it's probably shite!. I did have the misfortune to be my mate's "wing man" (forgive the pun) on a double date involving the viewing of Days of Thunder in my teens!. I'm reliably informed this is exactly the same as Top Gun, but with cars instead of planes!. Tom Cruise and definitely shite!.
Officer and a gentlemen!. Nope, not that either!.
Pretty woman!. Seen it!. Depressingly small amount of female flesh on display considering it's about a hooker doing a rich bloke!. Women like it for the romantic fantasy element, so only watch it if you're after putting her in the mood!. Be aware she may be thinking of Richard Gere at the time, though!.
Bambi!. Cartoon!. Disney!. Usually barfy drivel, probably dated now!. Kids cry when a hunter kills Bambi's mum!. Doesn't put them off wanting a Happy Meal afterwards, though!.!.!. unless you tell them Bambi's mum is in the burger!.!.!.!.
High School Musical!? Title's enough to let you know it's only of interest to 13yr old girls or paedophiles, surely!? I'm guessing - I have no desire to watch this!.!.!.

You should definitely see "Top Gun!." "The Sound of Music," "Bambi," and "Mary Poppins" are classics, but you may want to wait until your child is older and watch those with him/her!.
I'm a woman and I think that both "Pretty Woman" and "Officer and a Gentleman" are pretty sappy!. You can skip those!.

I have seen them all with the exception of the High School Musicals and enjoyed them very much!. Top Gun is a bit cheesy in places but worth a watch if only once in your life!. The others were all part of my childhood and (sadly) I know the words to all the songs in Sound of Music! TG, O & G, PW are good for a Saturday or Wednesday night in with a pizza and bottle of wine/beers and the others are good to watch with the children (any excuse)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
You havent messed out on much, i would say the only movies worth watching would be Top Gun, Officer and a Gentleman and Pretty Woman!.
If you like the older movies, go with The sounds of music and mary poppins!.

I vote no!. I havent seen any of these either and i dont feel like i have missed out on anything!. I have learned, however, that Even if you choose to watch them, you wouldnt get the full effect of them!.!.!. So it would almost be pointless to try!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No, you haven't missed out, there are many better films to watch !.!.!. but if you run out of the better ones there are hundreds of worse ones to avoid!. When you get to this point then watch the ones you have listed!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Watership Down is a rather gritty, realistic film, not meant for kids!.
HSM are horror films of such a terrifying nature NO ONE should see them (OK, they aren;t but I think it is much ado about nothing)
