Yes it is the Imperial academy!. If you read the expanded universe novels, specifically the Han Solo trilogy, you find out that Han could have had a career in the Imperial Navy!. The real reason why Luke's aunt and uncle didn't want Luke joining was because they knew from Obi- Wan Kenobi that Darth Vader was his father and the Empire could have discovered and trained him in the ways of the dark side!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
