Largest collective opinion says The Shawshank Redemption (1994)!. I'll agree that it's quite good!. Followed by The Godfather (1972), The Godfather Part II (1974 and The Dark Knight (2008)!.
I will support your answer however because The Princess Bride is suitable for the entire family and has dabbed in several genres quite nicely!. (Action, adventure, romance, mystery, comedy, etc)
