Basically it is condemming the movie "Blindness" as portraying the blind in an inaccurate and demeaning light!.
I haven't even seen the movie yet and I think they are completely missing the point!. The degeneration of society in the movie is not due to the blindness itself, but the abandon from "normal" civilization with inadequate standards of living provided!.

They think the movie is portraying long-term blind people as slobs and barbaric!. I think the reason the blind in the movie act so savage is because it happens to everyone extremely fast!. People tend to be scared and upset when drastic change occurs!. I think the NFB did miss the point!. I suggest you pick up a copy of the book before seeing the movie!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yes, they definitely missed the point!. The entire reason the people in the movie are so violent when everyone goes blind is not because they're blind by itself, but because it happened too suddenly for them to adapt, and it was too widespread for them to have much of anyone else to help them adjust like a normal person who suddenly goes blind in a normal world would have!.
