Ok well I finished watching a Justice league movie (2008) on YTV today and I used to watch the Justice League series all the time when I was little so now Im a little confused!. I don't want to sound offensive or anything but the Green Lantern there is white and in the series that i watched, the Green Lantern was black!. And he's an astronaut!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

The white Green Lantern is Hal Jordan, and is the original Green Lantern in the Justice League!. Jordan was a test pilot!. The black Green Lantern you're probably familiar with, John Stewart, was a means to diversify the ranks of the league in Bruce Timm's "Justice League" series, and in the process rebooted the history of the cartoon Justice League, with Stewart, the black GL being the founding member for this version!.
also, as mentioned by the others here, the Green Lantern Corps is a group of intergalactic police force chosen by the Guardians of Oa in every sector of space!. So, it could be possible that any Green Lantern can be a Justice League member, if a GL member is mandatory in the league's charter!.
The current JLA comic series, I believe, features Stewart now as the Green Lantern member, with Jordan leading a spin-off group of the League by next year!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

There are NOT more then one Green Lanterns!. There are others with the same RINGS that give them the same powers!. There is only ONE green lantern for the Justice league!. He became black because of a controversy within the companies!. He was selected to be gender changed!. same as Colonal Nick Fury of the Marvel Avengers!.
