It's a collaborative effort of the editor, director, producers, and the marketing team!.
Honestly there is no one person who assembles a trailer, except for no budget independent films (where the director is also the editor, producer, actor, ect!.)!. But if you have any sort of budget, it's a combined effort of at least the editor and director!. I didn't see "The Holiday", but from my experience and to the best of my knowledge, it's a collaborative effort!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
