Question: Whats a good unknown movie!?
So, I am a movie fanatic and down at the DVD shop i'm running out of choices!. I need some good cult films (not films about cults!.!.!.films like reservoir dogs etc) Basically good films that nobody has heard of!. If you could help me out that would be great!!!

Three great action cult films that I would suggest -- if your customers like things like "Reservoir Dogs" -- would be THE KILLER, HARD-BOILED and A BULLET IN THE HEAD, all over the top action Hong Kong films directed by John Woo, who later would come to America to direct things like "Mission: Impossible 2" with Tom Cruise or "Face/Off" with Nicolas Cage and John Travolta!. All 3 films of the films feature solid stories, but it's the action sequences which will have you dropping your jaw and they still hold up to this day!. And they're currently available on DVD and in the States through Criterion Home Video!.
All in all, Hong Kong action films -- such as Jackie Chan's original films -- are true "cult" gems among action film aficionados!. So I'm guessing that a lot of your customers might not have heard of them or had a chance to ever see them, which makes them great "store recommendations" where you could expose people to these kinds of movies!. And the films are great because the stunt work they do over there and the gunfire and explosions that they set off are the kinds of things you usually only find in a major production here in the U!.S!. And yet over there they completely throw themselves into things and it's like!.!.!.
DIRECTOR TALKING TO ACTOR (tapping the hood of a car): "Okay, Scene 1 is you driving this car 100 miles an hour and then jumping out of it just before it loses control and slams into that wall over there and blows up in a huge fireball!. Oh, and by the way, we really DID rig the car with live explosives, so try not to panic if you look in the back seat and see dynamite piled high!. Oh, and we really did cut the brakes cables, so don't be surprised if you really can't stop the car!. So you'd better get out fast or you'll really be dead!. Got all that!?
