Is there a MOVIE that impacted your life? ?!

Question: Is there a MOVIE that impacted your life!? !?
Is there a movie that you've seen that has changed the way you look at things!? What movie has most affected you personally, in that it made you re-think certain aspects of your life or perhaps even changed your life for the better!?

For example, there was a scene in a movie once that I watched that spoke to me on such a personal level that it completely changed the way I think about my relationship with my father!.

That's very remarkable!. I think the most influential film I have seen would be "Metropolis" from 1927!. I wouldn't say that the movie touched me emotionally in any significant way (although it does seem to have a power over me no other piece of cinematography possesses)!. It does, however, remind me of a time before I was born!. The movie just seems so familiar to me that it has lead me to explore further why I feel so connected to the 1920's!. I think, because of this film, I was able to unlock a past life and, eventually, discover who I was!. It has made me realize a lot about myself and it is very reassuring to have such evidence of life beyond this physical shell!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

M!. Night Shaymalan's movies always influence me in some way!. His movies are very spiritual and have an underlying meaning!.

Most recently, a movie that has greatly impacted my life was "Into the Wild!." It is a great movie if you have never seen it!. It greatly changed my personal opinions and the way I see the world!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

Far From Heaven (2002) is but one of several:

My father was gay but never really "came out of the closet"--as they say!. Growing up, I didn't understand why he had secret male lovers on the side!. On the surface, he appeared to be happily married to my mother (for over 40 years) and was the loving father of three children!. Since I started watching more and more movies that deal with the subject of homosexuality, I have slowly come to better understand my father (who has since passed away)!. He must have been VERY conflicted!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

star trek, cast my fiance in a role that took her away, and i lost her!. she died a few years after the picture was released!. it was terrible for me to see her with her head shaved bald for the short part she played as a "deltan"!. she had beautiful hair!. all i have left are pictures, letters, and memories!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

My first memorable movie is Alien!. I was 5 when I saw it and it scared the hell out of me!. I still have occasional flashbacks of some of the scenes!. Maybe it is time for some therapy!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
