I only watched a couple parts!. So a girl and her mom are at a table fighting, and the mom dumps water in the girls face!. When the mom tries to leave, the girl moves the table in front of the doorway with her mind!. Then the girl says that others can do that too!.

It could be either version of "Carrie" though I haven't seen the remake to be sure that it has the scenes you describe!.
