Does the effect of music in movie previews help you decide if you want to see a !

Question: Does the effect of music in movie previews help you decide if you want to see a certain movie or not!?
When you see a preview for a movie and it has a catchy song does it make you want to see the movie more than you would!?
I know it's kind of a silly question, but when I saw the previews for Nights in Rodanthe the "Love Remains the Same" song by Gavin Rossdale (I had never heard it before) sounded so perfect for the movie by the clips it showed in the trailer!. It made me want to see the movie a bit more and I love the song now!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think the intro music and the music throughout the previews do greatly affect ones desire to see or not to see a movie!. Lyrics and the music score is one technique used by many to draw greater crowds!. Commercial jingles, television programs opening music and lyrics, etc are all set in place to make their programing memorable and hopefully promote popularity through word of mouth---or would it be song of heart!?

Have you ever found your self singing or humming sitcom and/or commercial tunes!? Some times it drives me a bit crazy!!!! One that used to always seem to come to mind when I did something silly or a bit off target was the "Sometimes I feel like a nut, Whoa-o-o-o, Sometimes I don't!" by the makers of the Almond Joy and Mounds candy bars!.

I haven't heard the song you speak of by Gavin Rossdale!. I will have to check it out!.

Yes sometimes, because even if the preview wields the emotional, horror, action, drama or family film, the music can sometimes portray the nature and the pace of the movie and it's contents!. For example, when the background music is really fast and strong chorus lines break the silence for the audience, watching for the semi-plot for the movie, it gives a fast and sometimes bold shell for the viewer(s) to unravel and helps them determine if the film makes connections with their interest(s) and vice versa with any other genre and style of music, instrumentals, vocals, rhythmic sounds, etc!.

Hope this helps and you get to enjoy a good movie soon!! : )Www@Enter-QA@Com
