For the 1970s, you probably want to look at Woody Allen's films!. That was his heyday!. Other funny ones, even though they aren't necessarily romantic, include "The Sting" (incredible!) and "Paper Moon!."
For the early 1980s, I can't think of too many romantic ones!. Would "Splash" be early enough for you!? There are some great ones, though!. You should see films like "The Right Stuff" or "Chariots of Fire!." Maybe "War Games" now that that's out on DVD or the original "Ghostbusters!." But my favorite from that time has to be "Diner!." Great cast and dialogue!Www@Enter-QA@Com
