Is Children of Men inspired by Half-life 2 ?!

I just watched this movie for the second time, and being that I played the video game "Half-life2" just a few weeks ago, I noticed a great similarity!. When I watched the scene where the baby is born I noticed the single mattress that she slept on, in the middle of the floor sideways!. This completely reminded me of Half-life2, being that everyone just slept on bare mattresses that were in the middle of the floor, then I started noticing how the landscape of Children of Men was similar as well!. And the police, their uniforms are very similar as well, and they carry the same type of weapon, (the stick type thing that the guard pulls on Clive Owen)!.!.!. Both are about an uprising of poor people against the government, where the government has completely taken control of the people!.!.!. In half-life2 no one has babies anymore, human beings can't reproduce, just like in this movie!.!.!.!.

Anyone who has played Half-life2 will know what I mean, it is very similar to City 17 in HL2, the plots are similar as well, I just think for the overall look of this movie, the way the future is shown, it is very much like that game!. For those of you who aren't familiar with the game, it is one the most highly recognized first person shooter games ever made, even if your not into that type of thing, its a pretty amazing thing!.

Just wanted to throw that out, I am pretty certain though that I am right on this one, the similarities are remarkable!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
