It is! The movie is based off a book that was published in the 1950s!. The book is supposedly based off a true story of this one boy sometime during 1940s-1950s!. Well I don't know much about what happened to him!. I believe he died or something!. I'm not sure!. You have to look it up!. Hope that helps!Www@Enter-QA@Com
