It was good!. But they didn't put some really important things in there!. Like, how the Joker came to be!. That's a pretty important factor- plus his face wasn't PAINTED white!. He fell into a vat of chemicals, making his skin white, his hair green, and putting a smile on his face!. Everyone made it so over hyped because Heath Ledger died!. Beforehand, everyone was talking about how Heath was the worst choice for the Joker and how it was going to be horrible- now look!? wtf!? And they never even said his real name!. AND I can't stand that everyone says 'why so serious!?' he said it THREE TIMES in the entire movie!.

wth!.!.!.!.i cant believe that so many people say the movie didnt live up to the hype!. if anything, it EXCEEDED my expectations, and i was expecting the best film of the year!. it was so complex and said a lot about justice and heroism in our society, and didnt just touch on them but fully explored its themes to the end!. its interesting that in our times of guantanamo bay and the war on terror, the film states that defeating evil can only be accomplished by embracing it!. it muddies the waters and feels real, not white hats/black hats, cowboys and indians style!. to be honest i was just expecting an action movie with a crazy villain but i got a deep crime epic that ruminated on the role heroes have to play in our world and what they mean to us as human beings, and one of the greatest villains of all time!. also, for the person saying that the joker should be explained, well, no, to explain him is to demystify him!. he is terrifying because he is unknowable, and he exists purely for anarchy!. he is not a sympathetic, tortured soul, he is simply evil incarnate!. and he is the greatest movie villain since hans gruber!. he makes hannibal lecter look like a camped up old man!. and the film makes most others look like disaster movie!. altho i have to admit wall-e was a better filmWww@Enter-QA@Com
I think a lot of perverted girls overseas are going to be making some naughty Batman-Joker doujinshi when the movie gets dubbed into Japanese!.
Other than that, I haven't seen any portrayal of the Joker in a movie that seems enough like his comicbook counterpart, but it was one of my favorite movie versions!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The Joker stole the show!. To improve the movie they should have just made the Joker the main character, and have everything go his way towards his evil goals!. It's just a movie so no harm done!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
