Is Jackie Chan getting too old to do what he does in his movies?!
Question: Is Jackie Chan getting too old to do what he does in his movies!?
I recently saw a film of his called, Bo bui gai wak, it's called Robin-B-Hood in the US!. Anyways, whilst watching the movie he looked okay and pulled of his stunts quite well, considering he is 54, I thought it was pretty extraordinary!.
Then I saw the credits and the outtakes like in most of his other films!. In these clips, he got stuck sliding down a stair rail and needed help getting of, he struggles to do the simplest things, he gets hurt easily and even went for an X-Ray after falling, I remember in Rumble in the Bronx, he finished the Movie with a broken foot!.
So his movies must take longer to make, what will all the extra takes and all, so do you think he should just be an actor and not a do-his-own-stunt actor!. That will take away what he known for, but he is a good actor too!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes!. Go back and watch 'Project A', 'Armour of God' or 'Police Story'!. In those days Jackie was in fantastic shape and utterly fearless (some might say insane)!. It's a shame it took him this long to get recognised in Hollywood!. They should have acknowledged him back in the 80's when he was in his prime!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

But I must admit, I enjoy Chan's other abilities!. It might be interesting seeing him as a regular guy, let's say an English-speaking but naturalized U!.S!. citizen, in a romantic comedy, or even any other non-action movie!.

He is a legend!! sure hes gettin on now (i cant believe hes tht old! he doesnt look it i tell u that)!.!.but he can still do all them stunts, regardless of his trips or falls!.!.hes better then any others tht use stupid stunt doubles!.!.lol it just shows dedication to his work thats all!.!.he can do it no matter his ageWww@Enter-QA@Com

its a shame!. i hate to see him get old!. he is definately getting too old to do it!. but he cant let go! the idea to him, see, hes spent his entire life doing what he does so changes are kinda hard!. he isnt churning out as many movies now, he has a singing career too!. but i guess the old age is getting to i presume one of the best mma own stunts director actor producer there is!.
hey he was just as quick, if not quicker than jet li in forbidden kingdom!. by far jackie is the best out there and would kick jet li and tony jaa!. not that i have anything against the two lol
