Question: The Movie Training Day Question!?
At the very end of the movie, there is a news report!. Can anyone explain it to me exactly what happened!? I thought Alonzo(Denzel) got killed but on the news I heard, "Officer Alonzo Harris was survived by!.!.!. blah blah" I could have heard it wrong!. I watched it on cable so I couldn't rewind back or anything!.!.!.!. Thank youWww@Enter-QA@Com

When they say someone is survived by_______!. That means they have passed on and they will usually list their remaining family members like their spouse and children and so forth!. So, yes, he did die!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Moonbeam is right!. When someone dies they usually state whom someone is survived BY!.!.!.listing living next of kin!. The sad part is that Alonzo was married with kids that we never see!. Which means the mistress that he had set up across town & that adorable son of his would probably never be acknowledged!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yes he died and although I am a huge Denzil fan in this movie he deserved it!.!.!.thats the terminology they would use "survied by a wife and four children!.!.!.the ones left behind in his family!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
