The first (according to Wikipedia) was called 'The Power Of Love' in 1922 (a lot earlier than I imagined!.) The most popular era of 3-d films was in the 1950's - the first from that time period was called 'Bwana Devil' in 1952!.
My personal favorites from that time were 'House Of Wax' with Vincent Price and Alfred Hitchcock's 'Dial M For Murder' with Ray Milland and Grace Kelly!. I saw the latter in New York in 1999 for Hitchcock's 100th birthday celebration - great scene with Grace Kelly reaching out in to the audience to grab a pair of scissors!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
