Pulp Fiction stemmed initially from Tarantino's desire to make a hard crime film a la the crime novels of the 1930's!. It ended up varying off that a a bit and becoming what is now sometimes referred to as Neo-Noir!. I think a more typical label attached to this type of film would be Crime-Drama!. However, Pulp Fiction really falls into the same sort of category as films like Memento!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I would call it more of a drama because there wasn't really much action in it!. Any "action" it did have was very lightly sprinkled over several parts throughout the film!.
It was an okay movie!.
I would rather have them edit out all the really boring scenes with the Bruce Willis character and do more with John Travolta's and Sam Jackson's characters!. Those 2 really made the movie interesting for me, and thier dialog were funny!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
