Almost anything directed by Hayao Miazaki!. My favorites are Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro and Kiki's Delivery Service!. Pom Poko and Grave of the Fireflies, while gorgeous films, are NOT for kids!.
Youkai Daisenso/ The Great Youkai War--if you can find it!. Absolutely delightful!.
Zebraman--middle aged cosplayer saves the world!. Very funny!.
The Iron Giant--wonderful!.

The Neverending Story is great and I really enjoyed Fantasia as a kid too!. Don't bother with the sequel to Neverending Story!. How old is the child!? The movie Legend was extremely good if they're old enough!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
