Question: Have you watched any of the Harry Potter films!?
Ive always known that they have to cut stuff out from the book so the film isnt to long, but I watched The Prisoner of Azkaban yesterday after re-reading the book and I realised just how much they cut out, lots of important stuff and other less important things but still crucial to the story!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It really annoys me when they do that, and that's why i'm not going to get my hopes up too much for the next films!.!.!.
But at least they are making the last book into two films, so they hopefully wont have to cut out the crucial bits!
But talking about the mirror!. How ironic is it that Harry didn't open the mirror (which would have been very useful for when he needed to check sirius was ok) until after Sirius died and it was too late!? Man I was upset!. I liked Sirius!.

i liked them films in the format they are (a bit) i do feel I’m missing the point as a lot was disregarded by the movie of the book mind!.
But come on look at the sci fi channel they are canceling Stargate Atlantis even though the ratings the best ever, firefly and angle were canceled in the height of their work!.
TV and movie execs no bull about what we want to watch they churn out crap we hate and keep it running for years and then cancel they best shows on TV!.
Your mind in your movie theater!. so if you buy the radio version you can lay back and make the movie work in your head!. Much better

yeah i've watched them all, you're totally right they cut loads and loads out and of course they have to or the movies would last for hours and hours, but i think they should have JK Rowling as a script writer because only she would know the least important parts to miss out and most important parts to play up!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

yah i've read all the books and the movies!.!. and every movie based off a book does that, they dont have all the time to go word for word by the book or else the movie would be like 5 hours long!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I have all the Potter films!. But now that I think of it, I hate them all!. I love the books though!. Some books just aren't suited to be films, and Harry Potter is one!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yes sometimes the film bears no relation to the book, but that cos its difficult to portray what the writer is gettiing at and sometimes it would be too boringWww@Enter-QA@Com
