Really! The whole time I was watching it I felt like I was high!. You got all of those things running around that came out of a paralel dimension (WTF!?) and killing everybody!. Not to mention the giant ant in the parking lot!. And the giant octopus that eats teenage boys!. And the ending was awful!

The movie was horrible mainly because there was no hope of escaping, none, and how do you keep going on when there is no hope!? The novella was good, but it had a different ending that gave hope to the story!. Both the movie and the novella scared the crap out of me!. Even though the bugs and stuff were kinda bizarrely far fetched, like that giant tentacle thing!.
But the theory behind it is not that far fetched and that is the part that scares me!. Scientists are creating blackholes and trying to see into other dimensions now, what if something comes out of that!? Www@Enter-QA@Com

Actually,The Mist was written before The Fog,but that said, it's what I like about King's work!. Not everything get tied up in a nice little ribbon and that's the point!.The good guys don't always win and the lovers don't walk off hand in hand while the music swells to a crescendo in the background!. And if you hated the film(which I didn't,by the way,the monsters were cool!.And true to the book,I might add) you'd positively LOATHE the way it ends there!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
