Based on a true Story "Into the Wild" is about a boy that gives up everything and treks across the country to live in Alaska!. I didn't really care for it but I know a few people that liked it!.
**also a new release "Nims Island" a girl and her father live on a remote island with just their pets!. Her father is a scientist and goes missing on his boat and she tries to contact her "hero" to rescue him!. A cute story, it has Jodi Foster and Gerald Butler!. May be too "young" for you!.**
Never saw it but "Secret of the Blue Lagoon" with a very young Brooke Shields!. I believe she is stranded on a desert island with her brother!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
