Question: I'm getting sick of Hollywood!. Should we remove them from power and start again!?
It seems that every film I see is the same and as predictable as the last one!. All the films in each genre are starting to solidify into unimaginative duplicates of the other films in that genre!. I won't even go into this decade's obsession with adapting books, old films, comics, tv shows, even musicals and shows!. As for computer animated films - how many can you watch about things talking and acting human that don't usually talk or act human (usually insects)!? It makes me want to vomit!. I agree it seems like they are running out of ideas and everything now is either a remake or a sequal!. Or they take something and change it a bit!. Like with the movie The Condemmed, it was basically the same thing as Battle Royale but with prisoners instead of students!. I think these hollywood writers and filmmakers need to quit and let some people with actual creativity and new ideas take over!. And the other thing is they think that just because they have all this technology now that its a good idea to use it, then they go and take a perfectly good movie and remake it and add in all these computer animted thigns and that just ruins it!. Why so melodramatic!?
Hollywood isn't the only place in the world that produce movies, you know!? There are some brilliant European movies (German, French, Swedish) I have seen!. I also a few Australian produced movies that wasn't too bad either!.
And then there is Bollywood offcourse (Indian films), which produces hundred of film a year!. I'm not really a Bollywood fan, however some of the movies I've seen are quite good!.

The way to remove them from power is to completely stop going to the movies and stop renting videos!. Go to the library instead, or take up a hobby!. I almost never go to the movies anymore!. I'm not dropping ten bucks to see a piece of crap!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yeah, I have not really saw any "really good" movies for sometime!. There are a lot of great actors/actresses' in Hollywood, it's just that some movies have not plot or excitement to them!. I have given up on new hollywood movies they are all the same rubbish either too cool for school or ultra cheese fest!. All they all care about is pouting into the camera and making their zillions!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The thing is, "Hollywood" isn't in a powerful position - it's just a neighborhood in southern CA where most movie studios are and where most of the movie studios reside!.
Second of all, there's not much new with adapting old stuff!. Comic book movies have been around since Flash Gordon in the 40's, and books and broadway musicals have been adapted into movies pretty much since the invention of movies that had sound (or possibly before then - I seem to recall that there was a silent film that had something to do with an old sci-fi book about shooting someone to the moon in a cannon)!.
In any case, if you don't like the movies, don't pay to see them!. In the movie industry, money talks!. More computer-animated movies about anthropomorphic objects or animals are being made because the last several dozen computer-animated movies about anthropomorphic objects made lots of money!. If those movies stopped making money because people didn't want to see them any more, then the movie studios would make something different!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
