After Harry and Cedric both touch the Triwizard Cup, which turns out to be a Portkey and transports them to Voldemort's grave, Peter Pettigrew murders Cedric on the spot with Voldemort's wand using the Avada Kedavra spell (which shoots out a green light and kills a person instantly, with no signs of damage) upon Voldemort's order to "kill the spare" because Voldemort doesn't have his body yet!.

his name is cedric diggory and he and harry took the triwizard cup together and it turned out it was a portkey which took them to the graveyard where voldemort was waiting for harry so he could use harrys blood to make voldy stronger and then kill harry, but cedric had come along too, so voldemort said "kill the spare" and worm tail said "avada kedavra" which is the killing curse and cedric was instantly killed!.
