Question: Half Blood Prince Pushed Til Summer 2009!.!.!.!?
What the heck is this all about!? They say that it is to protect the integrity of the books!? That's BS! You know that directly translates into "we want to make sure the movie is as big as a financial success as the book"!. It's about pinching pennies from everyone!.!.!.the same reason why the Deathly Hallows movie will be split into two, even though, you could easily cut down on half of the unnecessary camping scenes and other dead areas of the book, to make it all one movie!.
I think we should all rally over to the Warner Bro's website and leave them a piece of our mind and google around for HBP petitions!. You know it's all a Warner Bro's based decision!.!.!.the movie is complete! They do the same thing in the video game industry when they feel the game isn't as receptive as it could be, or, if it is but they feel they can squeeze even more money out of people/they feel it could make it an even bigger money making title!. It's a marketing strategy! It's all about the dollars and not the fans!

I understand people are upset about the film being pushed back, but why is everyone criticizing the fact that it's about maximizing the profits!? Of course WB wants to make as much money off it as they can!.

Yeah, I was excited about it and everything and now the pushed it back for another year!. It makes no sense what so ever!. I heard they pushed it back because Warner Bro's company thought the movie coming in the summer would be family approval!. What family approval is there the movies getting darker!. And the last movie is split into too!.!.!.!. Smart!. They just want more money!.

it wont matter whether you tell them or not they're still gunna wait until next summer, and i hate to break this to you but they make movies so that they can make a lot of money especially with blockbusters, and besides because the harry potter movie has been pushed back twilight is gunna be moved forward and that's supposed to be amazing as well so i ain't nearly as pissed as i would have been normallyWww@Enter-QA@Com
I feel the same way!. I could not believe it when I read about this the other day! I am so upset, it feels like I've been waiting to see this movie for years and now when its almost time, they pull this crap!!! I would much rather see it around holiday time anyway!. Online petitions will not do anything just like what everyone else said in the million of other posts on this SAME topic!.
They moved it to make more money in the summer time since they had better success with movies in the summer!.
Plus since HP has a big fan base, they can push back the movie another year and people will go see it and still make money, so trying to leave a piece of your mind, wont faze them a bit!.
First few posts of this i supported but since people keep posting the same thing over and over and over instead of searching for the existing post and add to it, these posts just get old!.
