The photo on the cover shows the three main characters above ground and the monster coming to them from below!. The mouth of the monster (graboid) is larger than the three of them in the cover; however in the movie the mouth was not that big!.
The head coming to them looks like the "head" or point of the snake like toungers the graboid had!. Those heads were similar in size to a piton or anaconda!. The graboids actual mouth did not had teeth similar to those in the photo but hard structures like the beaks of an eagle!.
A mature graboid will measure up to 30 feet long, and 6 feet across at their widest point, and weigh 10-20 tonsWww@Enter-QA@Com
