Answers:
They HAVE made films about him~far too many actually!. They even had a TV series about his early years, starring Michael St!. Gerard as Elvis; actually, it was rather good!.

Here are some films about him:
Elvis (1979 TV movie)~~starring Kurt Russell
Elvis & the Beauty Queen (1981 TV movie)~~starring Don Johnson
This Is Elvis (1981)
Elvis and Me (1988 TV movie)~~Dale Midkiff
Elvis (1990 TV miniseries)
Elvis and the Colonel: The Untold Story (1993 TV movie)
Elvis (2005 TV miniseries)~~Jonathan Rhys-MeyersWww@Enter-QA@Com

That is not a bad idea! I'm sure the movie would do well!. Elvis has been portrayed by many actors in several different movies, including "Walk the Line!." However, I don't think he has ever been portrayed in a picture of the magnitude of "Ray" or "Walk the Line!." We have seen a good number of big Hollywood pictures based on musicians recently ("Ray," "Walk the Line," and now the 2007 Bob Dylan picture "I'm not There")!. If this trend continues, you may well get your big Hollywood Elvis movie!.

While you are waiting for the potential movie, you may want to check out the 1979 Kurt Russell picture "Elvis the Movie!." Directed by John Carpenter, it was a made for TV movie, but enjoyed an overseas theatrical release and was nominated for three emmys and and a golden globe!. I have provided a link to the movie's IMDB listing under sources!.

That is because Elvis isn't dead, he is in hiding!. Don't believe the hype his death was fake!. I saw him in Vegas with his twin brother!

Honestly I would be a bit surprised if they haven't already been approached about an Elvis film, more than likely though it has been shut down because Elvis was not alive during the time in hollywood when they started pushing Bio-picks!.

I would probably Netflix it though if they made one!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well, there have been quite a few tv films and mini-series done about Elvis over the years so maybe people aren't feeling the need for a theatrically released film about him!. I wouldn't be surprised if one was made though!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

They have a lot of films by him!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
