Question: So how good are these Twilight books!?
I like vampire anything; I've read all of Anne Rice's vampire chronicles and I read all the Harry Potter books!.

Answers:
Actually this series might be perfect for you!. It's kind of a cross between the two series you've mentioned!. I love them, as do most people right now!. I've only read the first two, but can't wait to read the next two!. You might also like the Anita Blake series, by Laurel K Hamilton!. I'm reading those right now too!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well, when I started the Twilight series, I had never really been interested in vampire literature; it was the plot of a human and vampire falling in love that attracted me to it!. In the end, though, it is definitely the best series I've ever read!. In your case, it might be hard to warm up to these kind of vampires, though, because the author portrays them very differently!. In her books, these vampires are "good vampires", they've trained themselves to not feed on humans, and hunt animals only!. They also have a lot of other traits that contradict the normal more "traditional", if you will, kind of vampires (no sunlight, garlic, stakes, etc!.) It's not just the plot and story line that keeps you wrapped up in the series, though; Stephenie Meyer has a way of enveloping it's reader in the pages of her books with constant twists and turns and amazing description, leaving you begging for more!.!.I just finished the last of the series *tear* and I still wish there were more to come!.!.!.In the end, this is not a series you should miss out on!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i'm not a vampire fan like you seem to be, but i didn't like the series at all!. i found them to be supremely cheesy, mushy, and badly written, especially the characters, who are nothing more than glorifyed cardboard cutouts!.

anyways, that's my own opinion!. try it if you're interested!. worse case scenario, you waste a few weeks of your life reading them!.

spoilers occur in the later paragraphs D:
my personal opinion on twilight and the series!.

first of all, all the characters are stupid, two dimensional, and not thought out at all!. the cullens are perfect, there's nothing wrong with them whatsoever and it seems that dying makes you beautiful, strong, fast, and able to magically make cars appear in people driveways!. bella is a stuck up brat who can't think of anything except edward!. not to mention her sudden and stupid transfer from loser to boy magnet!.

stephanie meyer is a hypocrite and a terrible writer!. her use of words is out of place and she doesn't really describe anything in detail!. except the cullens!. every second page seems to describe how perfect they are, and it makes the reader believe that it doesn't really matter!. because, hey, we're only supposed to picture was edward and his sister look like, because they're the whole story, it seems!.

there is no real definable plot!. the majority of the story features bella and edward sitting together in a car asking each other questions such as "what's your favourite colour"!. then they visit each other!. then they go into the car and ask more questions!.

then we move on to bella's kid, renesme or nessie or whatever the hell her name is!. the girl is half dead, apparently!. first off, edward cannot have children!. he is dead!. you cannot have children with a dead body, so the same thing should apply to edward!. his heart doesn't pump blood!. he can't produce anything needed to concieve a child!. and you can't be half dead!. it's impossibe!. you can be alive, dying, or dead!. or undead!. which is technically half dead but REALLY dead!. dead but able to do things similar to a living person, when supplied by food or fuel or anything that makes something work!. think of edward like a car!. if the car has fuel, it'll run!.

there's also the question on the influence bella has on actual real life teenagers!. before all this nonsense with edward, she was planning to go to dartmouth, and might have had a pretty good life!. then she had a kid at nineteen!. with a guy she suddenly fell in love with because OMG HE'S THE ONE!.

now how does that look to teens that may be a little less learned about true reality!? well now, it's okay to have kids at nineteen with any guy who you think is perfect!. it's okay to kill your dreams about going college and have kids instead!.

the end (:
there's probably more that i've forgotten!.
that i'd like to say!.

EDIT:
i'd also like to add that meyer completely disregards vampire mythology in her books!. she's taken away everything that can physically harm them!. the sun doesn't kill them - instead, they sparkle!. crosses have no effect on them - in fact, they have a cross in their house!.

the only way you can kill these vampires, apparently, is to "rip them up into pieces and burn the pieces"!.

hmm okay!.
everything every person ever supposedly chronicalled about vampires is myth because hey vampires can't die like they should because they have to be PERFECT!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
