Well, they were going through the comic-book story fast enough to get to all the villains!. And they couldn't risk Harvey Dent aka Two-Face still being there!. The Joker on the other hand is never to be eliminated from the Batman series!. So Nolan wanted to keep the Joker in play!. But now that that's been ruined by the tragic death of Heath Ledger!. Nolan and Gary Oldman concluded that they should try to end the Batman story without the Joker!. So Oldman came up with the plan to put the Riddler in the next and Nolan agreed to that!.

Actually, I disagree!. How would they have developed the Joker's character without contrasting him against Harvey Dent, and then showing his corruption via his transformation into two face!. They needed to have Rachel die not only for Harvey Dent's character, but Batman/Bruce Wayne's as well!. Too much of the movie would have to be changed just to hold Two face back for the next film!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yeah!. Ultimately when they tried to put two villains into one movie it became WAY too much like Spiderman 3: rushed!. There wasn't nearly enough time to lay out all of two-face's motives and exactly why he was doing it!. It would've been a perfect set-up for the next movie but unfortunately that's not how it went down!. If they would listen to us they would've ended up with an even better movie!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I liked it the way it was now we can move past harvey and onto other villains!. Two face was a cool villain but would have taken too much time for him and bruce to develop as friends like they do in the comics or cartoons!.

I think it played out very nicely!. I can't believe he died so quickly, but other than that!.!.!.it's, by far, the best movie I've seen in a long time!. It's just too bad Heath Ledger won't be playing The Joker, next go around!. He was at his best as The Joker!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

nah, actually the movie was pretty much based on Harvey/2face!. i mean!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.the jokers motive wasnt all to get batman!. it was to ruin harveys career!.
