Not-so-old movie about young love between chubby girl and cute boy?!

I keep remembering watching this movie set in late 1800 or early 1900 (not sure!.!.!. could be later)!. I remember the story about a chubby girl falling in love with a really pretty boy!. And she thinks that he won't pay any attention to her becuase she is not super pretty and whatever!. I use to think it was chris o'donnell but it isn't; so it's an actor that looks like him!. It's a really pretty story I wish I could remember!.
